What it will do

• The car exists once, and carries its title, its tag renewal, its running cost and its service history.
• The person exists once, whether they turn up as a birthday, a prescription or an executor.
• The records join up, instead of sitting in separate subscriptions that know nothing about each other.

Why it is built this way

The joining up is the thing being sold. That is why it is priced as one product rather than as a discount on nine.

Where it has got to

Not written yet. It exists as a row in this application and as the description above, and nothing more. It is listed so the shape of the whole line is visible rather than hinted at.
